Beginning in Scotland and inspired by my travels as far apart as the UK and Chilean Patagonia, Painting Beautiful Places explores the stories landscapes tell through our connections to them.
Influenced by masters like Monet, Friedrich and Turner, my sketchbook accompanies me on my travels and I seek out nature wherever I can.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I paint stories about travel and nature
I'm Chloe, born in England and living on the island of Malta in the central Mediterranean. I'm self-taught, constantly seeking out nature in my daily life as well as when I travel. I have a young son called Alfie.
Inspired by great British painters from Turner to Constable to Kyffin Williams, the Impressionists, Caspar David Freidrich, Franz Marc and more, I'm drawn to nature, and my sketchbook accompanies me on my travels. I seek out nature wherever and whenever I can, painting landscapes and their stories.
