Wonderlands - Human Landscapes

This collection of contemporary acrylic paintings, some landscapes, some more portraits, are inspired by the connections we make as adults, to the landscapes, memories, and sensations we experienced as children.

It’s watching the next generation explore those same corners that carried you into fantastical worlds. As parents, we become the parent and the child simultaneously, able to travel back in time to pick up our memories of summer holidays, right where we left them.
 

It's the freedom to be in awe of the mundane and overwhelmed by the sublime. To experience the same places time and time again and each time discover something new.
